Covintec is a construction system consisting of a three-dimensional structure of polished or galvanized wire #14 gauge (2.03 mm), electro-welded at each contact point, composed of vertical reinforcements called ladders or ZIG-ZAG.
When fixed by wire of the same type, they form meshes on each side with a grid of 5 cm and a core composed of expanded polystyrene is incorporated into these reinforcements, which will act as thermal and acoustic insulation.
This structure combined with the application of mortar gives it an ideal structural capacity to form load-bearing walls with great capacity, facades with high resistance to inclement weather and any type of impact.
